WHAT IS PIN?
VISION
GOAL
HISTORY
In 2004, while in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, Bishop Dante Veluz established the Philadelphia Christian Leaders Fellowship (PCLF) which was committed to regularly pray for the leaders in the Body of Christ and the government, particularly the US President. The Holy Spirit then prompted him to do the same in the Philippines and thus established the Presidential Intercessors Network (PIN) to pray for the President of the Philippines, the other government officials as well as the whole nation. He then designated the Jesus the Heart of Missions Team (JHMT), through Pastora Raquel Sto. Domingo to spearhead PIN in the Philippines, with him as the Founding Chairman, with the GOALS of:
(1) Establishing a National Prayer Movement for the government with the specific task to pray for the President, the VP, the Cabinet members, the other branches of government and local government officials;
(2) Establishing a daily or weekly Prayer Watch at Malacanang Palace, the Senate and the Supreme Court and other Courts and local government offices nationwide;
(3) Establishing a daily prayer chain among the churches, concerned groups and individuals and through an online website and the social media for PIN worldwide;
(4) Conducting PIN Prayer & Intercession Conferences and Christian Leaders Summit meetings nationwide and overseas upon request;
Ptra. Raquel lost no time and so launched the Presidential Intercessors Network at the Kabayan Hotel on July 15, 2004, together with partner churches who committed to pray daily for then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, the cabinet members, the three branches of government and all other government officials. That same year and the year after, PIN held several Prayer Seminars in different places to rally and raise up intercessors to pray for the leaders of the land. With the hand of God, through former Sec. Maria Gonzales-Tobias, PIN was given a prayer room at the Executive Building in Malacanang Palace and was therefore closer to the subject of its prayers - the President.
In December of 2007, PGMA accepted PIN’s invitation to be personally prayed for during the Prayer Camp in Iba, Zambales where the network of churches gathered, prayed and encouraged the President and her team of government officials.
During the term of President Benigno Aquino III, PIN was also given the opportunity to regularly pray for the President in front of Malacanang Palace at the church of Commissioner-Bishop Butch Belgica.
Today, at another crucial time in Philippine history, PIN is renewing its commitment to earnestly pray for President Rodrigo Duterte, his Vice President, his Cabinet, the Senators, the Congressmen, the Court Judges and all other local officials of the land. We pray that our officials, especially our President will submit himself to the guidance of the Almighty God,
so that God can use him and our leaders to effect change in our society and the nation as a whole
